My connection with Dr. Huffer was through his professional work as an independent medical evaluator in legal cases. For many years, Dr. Huffer examined persons seeking compensation for injuries sustained in accidents and at work. He cogently reported his findings and opinions - sometimes unfavorable to the party who had retained him to perform the evaluations, but always forthrightly, meticulously, and honestly. I had a wonderful experience singing with Jim and Lee Huffer, as a member of the Madison Diocesan Choir many years ago. Jim was always pleasant and engaging, with a cheerful smile and kind word. Most inspiring. He touched many hearts and minds. And he had a love of music that he shared with his community. Peace be with you.
