MADISON - Ruth Nadine Vaughan Kamrath, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, in Madison, Wisconsin.
Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her daughter, Diane Stefonek (Jon); and her beloved grandchildren, Aimee Irwin (Andy), Jacob Studt and Garrison Studt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Kamrath; her daughter, Joette Studt; and her sister, Mary Louise Bachmann.
Ruth had a deep love for travel and found great joy in exploring new places. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, creating lasting memories with those she loved. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. A private graveside service will be held by the family at a later date.
