I have Sylvie's artwork in my kitchen, what a talent and what a loss. My heart is heavy. May she rest in peace.

A very bright light has been dimmed. I am so sad that Sylvie is gone. I have mementos of her all over my house, and memories of our time together, either working, partying, eating. complaining, hugging, laughing, traveling, and collaborating. She left her mark in this town, San Diego. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

So very sorry to hear of Sylvie’s passing. She was a bright light and will be missed.

We moved around each other in intersecting circles of community, and I grieve that I didn’t get to spend time with her in person. I am sending my deepest condolences to family and loved ones, knowing as I do that she will continue to inspire, ignite, and inform the work she was passionate about, challenging us all to explore and expand those constellations of possibility.
