Duane was our beloved Greentree neighbor for 45 years. Having grown up on a farm in Lodi, Duane was a really handy guy…once literally repositioned a huge granite boulder in our front yard! On another occasion he raced across the street to fix an overflowing toilet. We heard lots of stories about Duane’s Norwegian ancestry and his military service. Never did we have dinner together that Duane didn’t update us on the many accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. I know there is a giant void within the Nelson Family. We, too, will greatly miss our dear friend but will fondly dwell on all the good times!
