Obituary
Kathy L. Penisten was born on October 25, 1951, to Helen and Harley Davidson of McFarland, Wis. She completed her time on this earth on September 25, 2026, after more than 54 years of marriage to her loving husband, Jim. Together they raised John (Mandy), Alan (Stephanie) and Mark Penisten and delighted in grandchildren and "grand puppies" as they came along.
The highlight of her working career was the more than 25 years she taught reading and language arts to those who found learning our difficult language challenging.
Kathy loved spending time with her family and friends, and found great joy in gardening, quilting, and caring for Monarch butterflies. She was a person of quiet, steadfast faith who believed that actions speak louder than words.
The family would like to express appreciation to Agrace HospiceCare and Dr. Farah Kahn for their excellent care.
