Obituary

James M. Kiley, known to many as Jamie, passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 24.

Born on November 29, 2001, Jamie lived a life marked by curiosity, energy, and a genuine love for the world around him. He was a spirited and adventurous young man whose presence brought warmth and enthusiasm to those who knew him. He approached life with an open mind and a willingness to explore new places, new ideas, and new experiences, and he carried that outlook with him wherever he went.

In his free time, Jamie especially enjoyed traveling, learning and using new languages, and fishing.

He is survived by his sister, Caitlin (Dogukan Deniz) Kiley Deniz; grandmother, Jessie Kiley Mitchell; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robin Troy and Stephen Hadley; grandfather, Eugene Kiley; grandmother, Jean Trow; grandfather, Robert Trow; and his uncle, Michael; along with his aunts, Shelly and Jody.

Though his time here was far too brief, Jamie’s life was filled with love, movement, and a spirit that touched many. Those who knew him will remember his adventurous soul, his bright presence, and the many ways he made life richer simply by being part of it. His memory will be treasured always.

A private family event will be held. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I love Jamie and will miss him. He was such a caring friend and excellent chef. We would trade meals sometimes and my favorite meal he made was duck for Christmas. I remember begging to make an ice fishing trip to the lake always telling him if he had the fishing gear I’d bring the beer. I will always remember what a kind person he was and how he stood up for what he believed in. He was such a friendly personality in the community I couldn’t help but smile when he entered the room. I deeply cared for him and pray for peace.
