OREGON - Mary Catherine Sickinger, age 65, of Oregon, Wis., passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 12, 2026, after a long, hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in Madison, Wis., on July 22, 1961, Mary dedicated her life to her family, always there with unconditional love and support. She found immense joy in capturing cherished memories of her loved ones through photographs. In her free time, you would find her in the garden, at a garage sale, decorating the house for every holiday, or cheering on her favorite Wisconsin sports teams. Mary’s love for country music was well known, particularly Kenny Chesney and classic country.
Mary will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, quiet strength, and warmth. She is survived by her husband, Roger Sickinger; children, Aaron (Kelly) Temby, Nicholas Temby, Ericka (Shane) Whittemore and Carly (Joey) Temby; three grandchildren, Kai, Kinley and Lincoln; her mother, Donna Grahn; and siblings, Pam Mackler, Sue Behm, Joanie Weiner, Mike Grahn and Jeff Grahn. She was preceded in death by her father, James Grahn.
A funeral service will be held at Gunderson Oregon Funeral and Cremation Care, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026, and again from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
