On behalf of the Badger Honor Flight Board and all our volunteers, we extend our deepest condolences to you all, the family of Mike Castle. We are forever thankful for his service to our great country. What an honor it was to take Mike on his “Trip of a Lifetime”. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Back in the 1980s, while I was attending school to be an X-ray technologist at St. Mary's, Mike became a dear friend of mine. I can't help but laugh at the memories I have of learning and singing jukebox songs with him and tearing up over the stories we shared of people we met during our hospital days who really struggled with life challenges. My friend "from El Paso" had the biggest heart and I am so grateful for the time he was a part of my life. May the Lord Grant you Eternal Rest, Mike.
