Michael Eugene Wilson, age 67, of La Crosse, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. He was born on January 27, 1959, in Elgin, Ill., to Robert and Mary Wilson.
Mike attended Lodi High School and graduated in 1977. He enjoyed woodworking and was skilled in all aspects of construction. If friends needed help with their projects, he was always willing to lend a hand. Mike loved all things outdoors. At any given time, you could find him camping or with a fishing pole in hand, or both. Mike also loved his golden retriever, Molly.
Mike is survived by his brother, Joe Wilson (Kim Wilson); niece, Jolee Wilson (Darren Johnson); and nephew, Nathan Wilson. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Robert Wilson; and brother, William “Bill” Wilson. His mother, Mary “Katie” Wilson passed away on September 4, 2026.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MAXIMILIAN KOLBE PARISH, ST. PATRICK CHURCH, 521 Fair St., Lodi, at 12 noon on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, with Father Joseph Baker presiding. Burial will be held at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Tuesday.
