Deepest Sympathy, Vivian, and Rhonda, David, Brad, and families. I just saw John's obituary linked on channel3000. Beautiful story! I just watched the tribute video. Beautiful family! Thank you for sharing your love of your beautiful family. I started driving by your home almost daily starting in May of 1992. It was my route to and from Cross Plains. I always enjoyed the beautiful front of the home. I also loved seeing John seated at the table every morning. It seemed like he was always reading. For some time now, I did not see John seated there. I kept John and Vivian and family in my prayers. Around Christmas time in 1995 or so, our son had a little car accident on the "S" curve before CP - an evening of a snowy slippery Airport Road. A Good Samaritan came along to assist and ended up knocking on the Birks' door to call 911 and us. I always remember John's kindness to answer the door that evening. We know you from our years at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. God bless you all. Thank you, John, for your military service.
