Obituary
MCFARLAND - Norman Fred Budzisz, age 81, of McFarland, passed away on August 25, 2026, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was born to Fred and Genevieve Budzisz in Chicago. Norm graduated from Lamont High School in 1962. He served with the U.S. Air Force for four years. Norm went on to work for 32 years with Datex Ohmeda, until he retired in 2002. He shared a happy life with his wife of 36 years, Marilyn Burkeland Budzisz. Together they enjoyed life on the river, family time, fishing, boating, golf, cards and sports. Namely the Brewers!
Norm is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; children, Steve (Judi) Daggett and Bart (Connie) Daggett; grandchildren, Michael (Katie O'Connell) Topper, Christina (Felipe) Nogueira, Kayla Daggett, Alyson Daggett, Cooper Daggett, Samantha Daggett, and Lexi and Rob Stinson; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Layla, Jaxson and Denver Wolter; sons, John (Tina) Budzisz and Geof Budzisz; Tina’s children, Jessica Stawicki, Jennifer (Nick) Klang and David Dubuc and her grandchildren, Brian Dubuc, Harper Klang and Rylee Klang; sister, Darlene (Dave) Pinta; and nephews, Steve (Cassie) Pinta and Brian Pinta. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife's daughter and husband, Jane and Joe Stinson.
A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 9 a.m. on Friday, September 4, 2026. A service and military salute will follow from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
