I was so surprised to hear of the death of Dobbin. I will miss seeing him at the NARFE meetings. I never knew he was such an active person with all his hiking, biking and marathons. Sounds like he got the most out of his life. I'm sorry for your loss Myrna.

Dobbin was a cheerful presence at time trial races--and an inspiring reminder that staying in motion buys us time and some extra miles. The clocks Dobbin made as awards for our team's races were time that couldn't be bought, only earned. I think of him and his persistence every time I see it on my wall.
