Obituary
TOWN OF BERRY - The family of Donna J. Hansen said goodbye to our little sparrow on August 7, 2026, at the age of 88. Donna went from a teenage baton twirling majorette to a mother of three in pretty quick order. She went to college as a 30-year-old and earned her degree in Meat and Animal Science. She worked for the UW Animal Science department for many years, and various other jobs after that, ending her work career at Land's End.
Donna loved her flower gardens and her farm in the Town of Berry where she lived for 50 years. After the passing of her beloved Wally in 2025, she moved to assisted living where she made many new friends. She is survived by her three children, Marcy Wealti, Maria Beecraft and Kurt Van Horn; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
