Benedict P Strobl

Benedict P. "Ben" Strobl, age 54, of Poynette, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Ben was born on April 22, 1972, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the son of Benedict J. and Rita (Hansen) Strobl. He was employed with VS Ripp Trucking where he worked with dedication until his medical leave. Ben's steady presence and easy smile made him a familiar and trusted figure to colleagues and neighbors alike.

An avid doer with a gentle heart, Ben found joy in simple and heartfelt pursuits. He loved movies, late-night phone calls with his brother, restoring cars, riding his Harley Softail, and the thrill of midget car racing. He also cherished photography and the companionship of his pets - capturing moments that reflected his quiet appreciation of life.

Ben is lovingly survived by his mother, Rita Strobl; his brother, Chris (Ruby) Strobl; his former wife, Meagan Strobl; his best friend, Patrick (Toni Morgan-Jones) Jones; nieces Krystal Strobl, Tabatha Strobl and Anastasia Strobl; great-niece and nephews Kaylee, Jade, Jesse and Thomas; and many other relatives and friends who will remember him fondly. He was preceded in death by his father, Benedict J. Strobl; his brother, Michael; and his niece, Ashley Strobl.

In keeping with Ben's wishes, private family services will be held. Though he preferred quiet and simplicity, his kindness, laughter and the memories he leaves behind will be felt by all who know him.
