Obituary

MADISON - Willis V. “Bill” Ream, age 92, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026. He was born on September 26, 1933, in Madison, the son of Frank and Mildred (Wagner) Ream.


Bill graduated from Central High School in 1953 and served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955. He was employed at Madison Gas & Electric for 38 years. He enjoyed traveling, camping and most of all spending time with his family.


Bill is survived by his daughter, Susan Jensen; and grandsons, Mathew Jensen and Joseph (Mikayla) Jensen. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joan.


A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, with Deacon David Hendrickson presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will follow the service at RESURRECTION CEMETERY, 2705 Regent St., Madison, with military rites being conducted.
