Obituary

MIDDLETON - Rosemary Rita Kruck, age 89, of Middleton, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2026. She was born on March 5, 1937, in Racine, the daughter of Martin and Helen (Dembowski) Hyatt.


Rosemary married Dennis Kruck on December 16, 1969. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother. Throughout her life, she took great pride in raising her seven children and treasured the time she spent with her family.


Rosemary worked as a poodle groomer for many years and had a lifelong love of dogs. She always had a beloved canine companion by her side, especially her dog, Rizzo. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends, often showing her love through the meals and treats she prepared.


Music brought Rosemary much joy. She enjoyed attending church festivals, Summerfest, and the Wisconsin State Fair, where she listened to music from a variety of genres. She especially loved classic country music. Alongside Dennis, she attended hot air balloon rallies, county fairs, festivals, and car races, always happy to support his interests and share in life's adventures.


Rosemary was especially proud of earning her driver's license in her mid-40s and later attending college to obtain her GED, demonstrating her determination and perseverance. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting and pottery, expressing her creativity through her handmade works. Later in life, she also enjoyed relaxing while watching her favorite television show, “Everybody Loves Raymond.”


Rosemary is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Dennis Kruck; seven children, Linda (Dale) Ehle of Janesville, Sandra (Michael) Sura of Caledonia, Gary (Monika) Kunaschk of Racine, Pamela (Charles) Weitzel of Caledonia, John (Hazel) Kunaschk of Lancaster, Ky., Cynthia Roushia of Rochelle, Ill., and Dr. Mark (Laura) Kruck of Middleton; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Gary Kruck (Francis Petrick); sister-in-law, Ann Merie (Randall) Dow; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Martin Hyatt Sr.; three brothers, Martin “Sonny” (Shirley) Hyatt Jr., Robert “Bob” (Violet) Hyatt and Donald (Marlys) Hyatt.


A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, at 12 noon on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.
