MADISON - Teresa “Teri” Donelle Kelley, age 64, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026. She was born on November 12, 1961, in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of Harlan and Donna (Courtier) Dorn.
Teri grew up in Helenville, WI and attended St. Peter’s Lutheran School from kindergarten through eighth grade and Jefferson High School. She married Patrick "Pat" Kelley on April 27, 1985, in Fort Atkinson, WI. She dedicated many years of service in a hospital, where she worked as a scheduling coordinator.
Teri had a special love for animals, especially dogs, and found great joy in feeding the squirrels and birds that visited her yard. She also loved butterflies and found beauty in watching them. She was immensely proud of her roles as a mom, grandma and great-grandma, and her family was the center of her world. Teri enjoyed sunny days, coffee, shopping, spending time with family, watching many sports, listening to music, and watching her grandchildren and grand-pups. She will be remembered as an amazing mother and grandmother whose caring, loving, and compassionate nature touched everyone who knew her. Her warm smile and generous heart made everyone feel welcome.
Teri is survived by her husband, Pat; son, Andrew "Andy" Kelley; daughter, Stephanie (Jim) Dalton; brothers, Tom (Sherry) Dorn and Tim (Robin) Dorn; sister, Tammy Mayfield; granddaughter, Alyssa (Andrew) Stoehr; grandsons, Jameson Dalton and Wesley Dalton; great-grandson, Arthur Stoehr; and many cousins and brothers-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Kelli Ann Kelley.
A graveside service and urn burial will be held at RESURRECTION CEMETERY, 2705 Regent St., Madison, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2026, with Father Michael Resop presiding. A celebration of life will follow at the VFW POST 9362, 349 S. Walker Way, Sun Prairie, from 2:30 p.m. until 6 p.m.
