CAMBRIDGE - Bradley “Scott” Wunsch, age 62, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at his home from natural causes. He was born on September 23, 1963, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Paul and Kathy Wunsch.
Scott graduated from Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nev., while living with his uncle Jim. He was united in marriage to his wife, Patti, on April 6, 2004, in Key West, Fla.
Scott worked for Delta Medical Systems, Electric Construction and Madison Metro.
Scott thoroughly enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and watching races while spending countless weekends at the family cabin in Three Lakes, Wis. He treasured the time he shared with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Scott never wanted to admit what a true softie he was, but he had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed. Scott had a great sense of humor, had endless stories to tell, and was never afraid to tell it like it is.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Patti; daughters, Tamika (Logan) Swinehart, Tara (Tanner) Ness, Tanessa Wunsch (Ben Oliver), Kelli (Clint) Starks and Krystal Sorensen; parents, Kathy and Paul Wunsch; siblings, Tom (Jo) Wunsch and Tami (Nugar) Owen; grandchildren, Blake and Morgan Swinehart, Tucker and Thaxton Ness, and Austin, Mariah and Cole Starks; uncles, Jim Bliss, Jim, Chuck and Larry (Sharon) Wunsch; nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elmer and Eloise Wunsch and Gilbert and Grace Bliss; parents-in-law, Dick and Lizz Eith; aunts, Sally Buffington and Sharon Traver; uncle, Ken Wunsch; and best friend, Billy Sorenson.
Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026. A celebration of life will take place at PARKSIDE PUB, 5016 Erling Ave., McFarland, following the visitation on Friday.
Scott, this isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later. Until we meet again, you’ll always be loved, you’ll always be missed and you will never be forgotten. Even though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful that you are no longer in pain.
