Adam Vincent Schultz
August 25, 1981 - June 22, 2026
Obituary
BARNEVELD - Adam V. Schultz, age 44, of Barneveld, passed away on Monday June 22, 2026, due to a car accident. He was born on August 25, 1981 in Madison, Wis., the son of Darryl and Doris (Elliott) Schultz.
Adam graduated from Barneveld High School in 2000. He worked various jobs as a carpenter/framer before starting his own business, Schultz Builders LLC, in July of 2017. His skill for framing, and hard work ethic did not go unnoticed, and Adam was often approached with work opportunities. One such opportunity was from H. Marty Construction, where he worked as a sub-contractor until his death.
Adam and his wife, Jenda, were united in marriage on October 4, 2014. Their whirlwind romance settled, with ease, into the peaceful comfort of building their lives together. Adam had two children with Jenda, a daughter, Heather, who was the light of his life, a piece of his heart forever hers from the minute she was born and a son, Trevor, who Adam had overflowing pride for, always in awe of his creativity. His love for his wife and children was deep and ever present.
Adam enjoyed any activity that involved his family, from watching Heather play soccer to swimming with Trevor. He was a big kid at heart and could often be found alongside all the young kids challenging them to a race across a water inflatable, or to a game of basketball, or to see if they could dump him off first while tubing. His true enjoyment came from watching them laugh and smile.
Adam loved an adventure, and was always up for a vacation. Often spending the summer with family and friends visiting various campgrounds throughout Wisconsin. By far his favorite vacations, though, were to the family cabin. The comfort of the cabin was where Adam truly found his peace. The friendships forged and memories made growing up there were always kept close to his heart, and he was eager and excited to carry on that tradition with his own kids.
Adam was the strength and foundation of his family. He never wavered in his patience, devotion and giving nature. His quiet and calm presence remained constant through any storm or obstacle he faced. Adam’s reach was far and wide and he will be greatly missed by his family, and all who had the honor to meet him.
Adam is survived by his wife, Jenda; daughter, Heather; son, Trevor; parents, Darryl and Doris (Elliott) Schultz; brothers, Nick (Melissa) Schultz and Jason (Kerry) Schultz; uncle, Wes (Jan) Elliott; aunts, Alicia Schultz and Jean (Jim) Lenius; father-in-law, Norm (Ellen) Ask; mother-in-law, Rene’ Ask; and many nephews, nieces, and close friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary (Orcutt) Schultz; maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Ruth (Reese) Elliott; and uncle, David Elliott.
