STOUGHTON - Diana Kay Lauretic, age 65, of Stoughton, passed away at home, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, after a brief but courageous battle. She was born on September 14, 1960, in Stoughton, Wis., the daughter of James T. and Margaret L. Hanson.
Diana loved the outdoors and animals, especially kangaroos. She enjoyed kayaking, birdwatching, and being outside. In her final days, she spent many peaceful hours sitting on the porch, enjoying the fresh air and watching life around her.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Amber Knipfer (Chris Blumer); grandchildren, Charlie Coon, and Aidan Woehler; sister, Lori Moses; brother, J. Michael Hanson; nieces, Faun Moses-Lee (Timothy Lee), Elizabeth Hanson and Holly Hanson; nephews, Shaun Moses (Jamie) and Grayson Hanson; her cat, Jake; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents, George and Dorothy McFarland and Charlotte and Thomas Hanson.
Per Diana’s request there will be no services, visitations or burial.
