RACINE- Helen Louise Ujvarosy, age 80, of Madison, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026. She was born on July 4, 1946, in Racine, the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Paulson) Madsen.
Helen graduated from Racine Washington Park High School in 1964 and later earned her BA degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was united in marriage to Stephen Ujvarosy on September 6, 1969.
Helen worked as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper (aka House Mother) most of her professional career. She enjoyed gardening, landscaping, bookkeeping, and editing, but above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Helen is survived by husband, Stephen; sisters, Barbara (Walter) Ott, Carol (James Farr) Hillman-Farr, Linda (Daniel) McCabe and Karin Dinda; brothers, Paul (Vicki) Madsen, Roger (Barbara) Madsen, Mark (Judy) Madsen and James (Linda) Madsen; and sister-in-law, Susan Madsen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn; and brother, David Lee Madsen.
