Steve was a big part of my life, after bad decisions I made, let me live with them for years. Without their love and support I wouldn't be where I am

Steve was so much to me, to his kids we all called him Dad but he was like a brother to me, my friend and mentor, I taught him to drive forklift at Stokely USA sauerkraut factory and he taught me to be a better person. I hope that the tree planted gives that same kind of better life to animals and future generations as he did with me. I'll miss you my friend.

I remember meeting Steve at the Town of Lodi working and found he knew my brother from his Milwaukee Valve days. My brother had passed and Steve had such kind words for him. He was so kind and we will miss him dearly. May all of you find peace through this difficult time. Rest easy friend.

So sad to hear of this. I had the pleasure of working with Steve at Milwaukee Valve until I retired. He was a great friend and will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.
