Obituary

SUN PRAIRIE - Clyde Dallas Williams, age 68, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at Aurora Medical Center-Burlington. He was born on March 25, 1958, in Chicago, Ill., the son of Atherdore and Wanda Juanita (Warwick) Williams.


Clyde graduated from Cregier High School in Chicago, in 1976. He worked as a GTE phone technician.


Clyde was a loving father who always supported his children and his nieces and nephews, and will be fondly remembered as a great big brother to many of his siblings. He truly had a big heart. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, gift for storytelling and love of food and grilling for family and friends. In his free time, Clyde enjoyed watching science fiction shows, especially programs about aliens and the unknown and playing basketball and watching sports, especially football and basketball.


Clyde will be deeply missed by his two sons, Corey (Marie) Williams Sr. and their children, Corey Jr. and Jalen; Christopher Love and his children, Kayden and Anila; daughter, Jordan (Greg) Anderson and their children, Giyanna, Gamyla and Gia; and bonus daughter, Devon (Stephen) Wallace and their children, Antonio and Alaiyah; siblings, James (Narvale) Williams, Goldie (Lou) Marasco, Atherdore (Janet) Williams Jr., Bessie Williams, Evelyn (Peter) Ernest and Dorenita Wilson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roger Norman and Terry Williams; and grandchild, Giyhal Anderson.


A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026.
