I always looked up to Don. He was a huge influence in me becoming an official and shared so many nuggets with me over the years. He mentored me and was always available to give me advice even after he retired from officiating. Don had the opportunity to officiate both of my kids in basketball and for that I am glad they got the opportunity for him to share his knowledge with them about the game. Don will be missed by so many in the officiating world. Rest in peace my friend.

Really sad to hear of Don's passing. We were teammates, classmates and friends from our preteen days through high school. Sympathy to the family . He was a great guy. Larry Wegger
