Demetric Ladale Fulton III

MADISON - Infant Demetric Ladale Fulton III, also known to all as “Lil Jap”, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at American Family Children's Hospital. He was born on October 15, 2025, in Madison, to his loving parents, Demetric Ladale Fulton Jr. and Katherine Olson. Though his time here was brief, Lil Jap brought immeasurable love and light to those who knew him.

Lil Jap was such an easy, peaceful baby, always wearing a sweet smile that could light up any room. He loved watching Elmo and was already an iPad little one. He delighted in kicking his legs and blowing the cutest raspberries, bringing joy to everyone around him. Though he was a bit of a picky eater, his curious nature and big, beautiful eyes showed how much he was taking in the world. He was a hands-on, engaging little boy-so handsome-and while he didn’t love tummy time, he filled every moment with love and light.

Lil Jap will be deeply missed by his parents, Demetric and Katherine; brother, Ny'mire Calmese; grandfather, Unami Olson; grandmothers, Rochelle Nord, Amber Jones, Monica Chairez and Nedtra Lawson; great-grandmother, Margaret Flakes; aunts, Tamia Fulton, Jazinquiana Johnson, Karleigh Olson, Katrina Johnson, Janavia Calmese and Andre'Yona Scott; uncles, Demarco Martin, Devon Robinson, Trision Mitchell and Leonard Lawson; great-aunt, Patricia Ganser; and godfather, Justin Anderson. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Demetric L. Fulton Sr.; and grandmother, Goldie Fulton.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026. Burial will take place at Oak Hall Cemetery in Fitchburg.
