Bruce & I will always remember Tony as the first person to welcome us to the Monona community. Many of our backyard chats allowed us to get to know him as an avid storyteller and a consistent family man. We will miss him and send our warmest condolences to Mary and the family. 🎣 ❤️

I've known my father-in-law as a good person, a loving husband and father and a very hard working man. I remember Tony, his son, would always say that he gives his best at work all the time because that's what he learned from his Dad. His love for sports and being great at it is also from his Dad. I wish there is more to this 10 years with him, but I know he is in a better place and no more pain. Dementia may have taken over his life, but just like how he is so good with hunting, fishing, baseball and hockey, I honestly think he battled this illness and played it well like a champ! He is a well-behaved patient and I do not recall him giving my mother-in-law a hard time. He is so kind that even in his last minute we didn't rattle, instead he left in peace. Dad, thank you for everything that you are. You will be missed! Love you, Mia

Tony and I grew up together in the "BUSH" neighborhood. We were best friends and had a lot of great adventures together. We graduated the same year from Central High School. I missed his wedding as I was in the military in 1965. When his son Tony was born, Tony asked me to be the boys Godfather which I accepted. Tony was one of the good guys. Worked hard all his life to support his family. I will miss him. I know he is in a much better place and pain free at last. I will never forget him. Mike Caliva
