I was sadden to learn of the passing of Sandra, She was a talented scientist, collaborator and colleague. I enjoyed working with her and getting to know her as we worked on the alfalfa phytase project. Ironically, about two weeks ago I was in the neighborhood where she lived back then(and maybe still did) and thought about her and that it would be nice to reconnect. Unfortunately, that won't happen. I extend my sincere condolences hope you can find strength in her in her memory and in your faith and family. Dick Straub
