Al was a welcome addition to our Polka family here in Arizona. He always had a smile and a hug to share. He learned to play the accordion in addition to the concertina and we could all tell how much he loved making music with and for his friends. He will be missed!

Al was a neighbor and classmate at Bohn School near Mt Horeb and I tried to keep in touch over 70 years. Fond memories of Al playing the accordion for Christmas at Bohn School with his Red face & big smile. RIP AL

I have fond memories of Al in Mesa,Az at our Century Plaza dance jams playing with the Country Gold Band.
He always had a nice comment on my singing saying how he could understand every word I sang in the songs. His musical ability playing the concertina will be surely missed.
