Obituary

Madison - Paul G. Lewandowski, age 70, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Oakwood Village- Health and Rehab. He was born on November 7, 1955, in Madison, Wis., the son of Francis and Betty (Gahan) Lewandowski.


Paul graduated from LaFollette High School in 1973. Prior to retirement, he worked as the warehouse manager for American Family Insurance.


Paul is survived by his sisters and brother, Margaret McCann, Michael (Barbara) Lewandowski, and Mary (Tom Dover) Steele;  nieces, Kelly (Kurt Hellman) McCann, Megan (Chris) McRiguez and Sunny Steele; nephew, Lucas (Holly) Steele; great-nephews, Dominic Thomas Ferraro and Anthony and Rustin Steele; great-nieces, Raya Ferraro and Ruby Hellman; and many loving cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tom Lewandowski; and brother-in-law, Jerry McCann.


A celebration of life will be held at Gunderson East Funeral and Cremation Care, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
