Obituary

MADISON - Bradly David Connery, age 56, passed away on March 13, 2026.  


Brad graduated from James Madison Memorial High School in 1987. He went on to spend much of his career in construction, primarily Connery Construction, where he was known for his dedication to his trade.  


He was a devoted father who loved his children deeply and protected them fiercely. His commitment to his family was a defining part of his life. He was also loyal to his church and found strength and community in his faith. Brad was an avid outdoorsman, a frequent hunter, and truly embraced all of Wisonsin's natural beauty.


Brad is survived by his children, Kate (Michael) Quade, Timothy Connery, Matthew Connery and Jack Connery; granddaughter, Ellie; father, Timothy Connery; stepmother, Randy Connery; sister, Amie Sommers; brother, Jason Cox; nephews, Dalton (Megan) Sommers and Hunter (Shantel) Sommers; niece, Paige Sommers; and many more relatives and life-long friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Aleta Marie Connery.


A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
