Obituary

MADISON - Danita L. Diettert, age 66, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at Stoughton Hospital. She was born on September 30, 1959, in El Paso, Texas, the daughter of Robert and Delores (Wyssbrod) Lund.


Danita married Scott William Diettert on Sept. 11, 1983, in Madison. Danita worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for St. Mary's Hospital for many years. She enjoyed gardening and could grow anything. She loved to experience the outdoors through camping and riding motorcycles. Danita had a beautiful collection of angels. She was a member of the Audubon Society and an avid donor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.


Danita is survived by her husband, Scott William; son, Tyler William (Tanine) Diettert; daughter, Lynsey Lea (Michael) Gallero; four grandchildren, Vincent M. Gallero, Anabela G. Gallero, Hudson Diettert and Haidyn Diettert; and mother-in-law, Mary Esther Diettert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Delores Lund; and sister, Naomi L. Sabatier.


Private services will be held.
