Blia Yang Lor

MADISON - Blia Yang Lor, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on June 4, 1940, in Laos, the daughter of Txiaj Pov Lauj and Mos Thoj.

Blia Yang enjoyed gardening, cooking and worship. Spending time with her kids and grandkids brought her much joy.

Blia Yang is survived by her six sons, Lia (Diana Vang) Xiong, Chewy (Annie Vang) Xiong, Deng (Zong Yang) Xiong, Chue Houa (Mary Vang) Xiong, Shoua (Sam Yang) Xiong and Fue Tou (Bao Cha) Xiong; daughter, Mai Ge Xiong; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters; and four brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Services and visitation will be held at Gunderson Oregon Funeral and Cremation Care, 1150 Park St., Oregon, from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026, and also from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2026.  Burial will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Lodi, at 12 noon on Sunday, April 19, 2026.
