I have so many memories of Eric! Firstly, I was his wife, hard to forget those! There are some favorites! This one is our first!
We met on a set up “blind date” by his sister. After talking for an hour or so on the phone, we started to falter for more conversation. It was my cat Sam who decided we should meet and meowed, cats was the conversation for the next half hour, it’s ok, she made the introduction! We were running out of things to talk about, she moved it along! So…I went to his place, literally 4 blocks from mine, odds of that are…?! to meet him and head out to the local watering hole and discovered we were both reading the same book! Mr. Murder by Dean Koontz! Coincidence, I think not! Precursor to “what are you reading right now!”We became friends, talked for hours, played a lot of cards, and enjoyed each other’s company. Taught me pinochle! Marriage in 1995 might not have been the right move, but we were always friends! On my birthday in 2011, we got a divorce and the judge said, you are the two most amicable people I have ever seen get divorced! We were going to go out for a cocktail! After all, it was my birthday! Eric was truly an interesting person and will be missed! I am so happy I was in his life, fyi, we still celebrated “date night”, dinner and a movie, every Sunday for months after we broke up! We owned two house and about 10 cats over the course of our lives together! Eric! Enjoy the rest and peace with your friend Jim! Thank you for being a part of my life and biking with me! Love Jaquie!

Eric, thank you for being a groomsman in our wedding, for our trip to Ireland that I will never forget, for drinking fine wines with me, and Guinness. I'm sorry we won't have an opportunity to do the farmers market together this summer but I'm glad you are no longer in pain. I'm going to miss you so much.
