PARDEEVILLE/LODI - Monica Lee Good, age 52, of Pardeeville, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, after a short but brave second battle with cancer. Born on March 26, 1973, in Madison, Wisconsin, Monica was the daughter of Stuart and Jane (Steinbeck) Good.
Monica grew up in Lodi and was a 1991 graduate of Lodi High School, where she made some of her best lifelong friends. She was a truly loyal friend, always there when someone needed her. Strong-willed yet gentle and sweet, she had a heart full of compassion for others. She will be deeply missed by her many friends in Lodi and by all of the other special friends she held close to her heart throughout her life.
She loved being an aunt and made many special memories with her niece and nephew, Alaina and James, never forgetting a birthday card, Christmas gift, or being more than a phone call away.
Monica treasured the outdoors and especially enjoyed sunshine, camping, (especially at Council Grounds and TeePee!) and spending time on the river or the lake. She loved to laugh and a way of making people feel seen and valued.
At home, she was rarely far from the company of her cats, especially Myles, who stayed faithfully by her side until the end.
She is survived by her father, Stuart Good; her sister, Amy Good (Tony Sullivan); her brother, Travis Good (Brooke); her niece and nephew, Alaina and James McIntyre; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Good, in 2023, and by her grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the EASTSIDE CLUB, 3735 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a short time of remembrance beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026.
