Obituary
MADISON - Lori Lee Ahlen (Harrison), age 64, of Madison, passed away in her home on Saturday, February 21, 2026. She was born on April 30, 1961, in Madison, the daughter of John and Sharon (Walsvick) Harrison.
Lori graduated from Sun Prairie High School and went on to build a life centered on family, dedication, and service to others. On February 10, 2012, she married the love of her life, Leonard “Lenny” Ahlen, in Fitchburg, beginning a partnership filled with devotion and shared adventures.
Lori worked as an accountant for CUNA Mutual Group (TruStage) for 26 years, where she was respected for her commitment and integrity. In addition to her work in accounting, she found great fulfillment serving the Madison Metropolitan School District and the School District of Lodi as a social worker, dedicating herself to supporting students and families.
Lori had a deep love for the outdoors and was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Milwaukee Brewers. She enjoyed cooking and traveling, always eager to explore new places. Though she never enjoyed flying, she embraced every opportunity to discover somewhere new. Over the years, she treasured her time with horses and shared her life with many beloved pets, who brought her endless joy and companionship.
Lori is survived by her husband, Lenny; son, Lee (Cayley Wilson) Holt; father, John; uncle, Ron Walsvick; cousin, Michael Walsvick; second cousin, Micha Walsvick; and special friends, Kobi and Sarah Danke and their children, Holland and Lily. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon; half-brother, Michael Harrison; grandparents, Harry and Irene Walsvick; and former husband, Michael Holt.
A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The family encourages guests to dress comfortably and casually as they gather to celebrate Lori’s life.
