Obituary
MADISON - Robert Allen Nelson passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at his home. Rob was born on May 5, 1969, in Madison, the son of Darrald and Vicky (Gottschalk) Nelson. He enjoyed Wisconsin football, watching Raw and Smackdown wrestling, spending time with his family and pets, grilling, taking his grandson to monster truck races, gambling, talking to his nephew, Riley, about wrestling, and watching YouTube videos and the series, Chicago Fire.
Rob is survived by his wife, Tonia Nelson, married since October 2005; daughter, Tammy Nelson; grandson, Christopher; mother, Vicky; sister, Virginia; nephew, Riley; as well as many beloved fur kids and fur nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Darrald Nelson; his four cats and three dogs, especially Chance “Brutis” and Maggie Mae.
