EAST TROY - Troy Scott Nahrath, age 61, of East Troy, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Stoughton Hospital. He was born on December 25, 1964, in Port Washington, Wis., the son of James Nahrath and Janice (Miller) Nahrath.


He was united in marriage to Debra Madison in East Troy, Wis. in 2019. Troy worked as a mechanic for Nordco until he retired in 2017. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles and driving his vintage Trans Ams.


Troy is survived by his wife, Debra; two stepdaughters, Lyddia Revell and Anna Borkowski; grandchildren, Violet, Sterling, Pearl, Rex and Reese; his sister, Cheryl (Alan) Ritchey; his brother, Mark (Sharon) Nahrath; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Janice Nahrath.

Troy may have been know as a tough guy or a bad ass, but I had the honor to get to know his heart. He had the biggest, softest heart. He would bend over backwards to help anyone, rain or shine, day or night. He had a deep love of music and an even deeper love of animals. There wasn't a dog or cat that didn't love him as much as he loved them. (okay, there was that one black lab when he was a kid. LOL ) He was my best friend and there has been a big hole in my life since he stopped using his phone and the computer. That hole has now become a bottomless pit. He will be deeply missed and always loved and remembered by me, our daughter Lisa, and his three grandchildren, Melanie, Justin and Callie.
