Obituary

MADISON - Bruce Charles Hoppe, age 66, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at his home. He was born on May 4, 1959, in Milwaukee, Wis., the son of Carl Hoppe and Vivian Messing.


Bruce graduated from James Madison High School.  He worked as an inventory specialist in the auto parts industry. In his free time, he enjoyed deer hunting, metal detecting, and visiting the shooting ranch in McFarland.


Bruce is survived by his sister, Marcia Imse; nieces, Dana (Dustin Herring) Imse and Brea (Arik) Lebda; and great-nephew, Jamye Thornsen. He was preceded in death by his parents.


No services will be held.

My best memory, is when I met Bruce at the Holiday Fair in Brown Deer. We walked back to his house. I crushed on him soo bad !
