All the good memories from Uncle Fran were from deer camp on the farm in Yuba. I remember my first hunt when Fran was sitting with me. We saw a very nice buck. He shot and then I assisted 🤣. Then the snow started to fall just after we harvested the deer. I can remember it vividly. Love you Fran say hi to James and Marie for me

Fran came into my life as my own father was battling cancer in 1989. He was an incredibly hard working, dedicated man that had a passion for life that is rare in this day. He raised beautiful children and grand children, and filled that “Father” void that I lost right after Michelle and I were married. I am eternally grateful for what he brought to our lives through all the ups and downs, trials and tribulations. Through it all, he was a dedicated servant of our Lord and Savior and I know that he is at his side in eternal salvation. Rest easy Dad and thank you for what you brought to my life as your son. I really didn't know Francis but he was a year or two ahead of me in the Richland Center High School in a rural farming area. I think he probably belonged to the FFA club and then I noticed it was mentioned in the obituary that he was big on gardening. From all he did for work, his family, neighbors, co-workers, friends and serving in the military it appears that he is and was one of the "good guys". Thanks for his serving our country and blessings to his family. Rita Hansen Frakes
