LODI - Jeremy Sladky, 38 - son, brother, uncle, friend - passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026. Jeremy was born on March 28, 1987, in Madison, Wis., to Michael Sladky and Julie Strong. He graduated from Lodi High School in 2005 and went on to spend many dedicated years working in the metal fabrication industry. He was currently working at Alkar, where he was valued for his hard work and dedication.
Jeremy is survived by his parents, Michael Sladky and Julie (Jim) Strong; his siblings, Timothy (Dave) Strong, Steven (Ezra) Sladky, Melissa (Scott) Sladky and Rebecca (Justin) Schwenn; his two nieces, Lillian and Paige Black; and his nephew, Dylan Ennocenti. He is also survived by his best friend, Jerad Fisk, along with Scott Fisk who he cared for deeply, and an endless number of friends whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ira and Shirley Strong, and his paternal grandparents, Leonard and Sara Sladky.
Jeremy will forever be remembered for his incredible sense of humor and the way he could make anyone laugh, no matter the situation. He had a one-of-a-kind personality that drew people in and made them feel welcome. Whether he was telling a story, cracking a perfectly timed joke, or simply sharing a smile, Jeremy had a special way of lighting up any room he walked into.
More than anything, Jeremy loved spending time with the people he cared about. He cherished moments with his family and friends, whether it was a holiday gathering, a casual get-together, or just sitting and talking. His love was unconditional, and his presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him.
A celebration of life will be held at WADDLE INN, N1430 Highway 113, Lodi, Wis., from 12 noon until 4 p.m., on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
