No Westside Swim Club swim meet was complete without Bill keeping us on track. I’ll always remember his amazing laugh and hours spent at the pool cheering us all on. You will be remembered and missed. Sending love to Alice, Amy, Lori and Beth and all the grandkids.

Mr Battista made WMLL a truly special place and an example of youth sports at its best. I made many lifelong memories playing games and hanging out with friends at the ballpark. He did not just facilitate games, but made it a true community. The summers of 2006-2009 are ones I will never forget, in large part thanks to Mr Batista!

Sincere condolences Alice and family.Bill was one of the most popular guys in our class of '67 and it wasn't just because he was cute,smart, and athletic.It was because he was always genuinely nice to everyone.

So sorry that Bill has passed. He was a great Madison West Kiwanis friend. He aways had a smile and asked how I was doing, he did so many good things for his community, especially with his great love of baseball. I remember many happy times with Bill at the Badger football concession stand. Rest in peace
