Brian Douglas Rodeck

MCFARLAND - Brian Douglas Rodeck passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026. He was born on August 23, 1957, in Milwaukee, Wis. He was the oldest of four children born to Rev. Alvin and Mrs. Martha (Nord) Rodeck.

Brian earned a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University in 1979 and joined the U.S. Marine Corps as a Second Lieutenant that year. A brilliant engineer and computer scientist, Brian established and trained staff for computer data centers, first in the Marine Corps and then as a civilian.

Brian’s was a busy life, full of professional achievement, good friends and a loving family.  He is survived by his wife, Renee; son, Alex and wife, Hollyn, and their three children, Jack, Lexi and Madison; son, Nick and wife, Meaghan and their son, William. He is also survived by his mother; brother, Brent; sisters, Barbara and Bonnie; and nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at MCFARLAND LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2026. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
