Obituary

STOUGHTON - Paul Milo Raymond, age 73, of Stoughton, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at UW Hospital and Clinics. He was born on September 3, 1952, in Fort Atkinson, the son of Milo and Corrine (Jarlsberg) Raymond.

Paul graduated from Cambridge High School in 1970. He was united in marriage to Gail (Bade) Nielsen on May 4, 1974, and  went on to build a long and dedicated career as a plumbing and design engineer with Affiliated Engineers, where he worked for 46 years.

Paul attended Lake View Church. He loved spending time at the Stoughton Senior Center, where he could often be found playing cards, sharing laughs, and enjoying friendly competition. Time with friends meant a great deal to him, and his enthusiasm for the Packers was unmatched.

Paul is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter, Brittany (Matthew) Parker; sons, Adam Raymond and Christopher (Anne) Raymond; grandchildren, Isaac and Brooklyn Parker; and brothers, Kenneth (Cathy) Raymond, Karl (Jan) Raymond and John Raymond and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In keeping with Paul's wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time.

Memorials may be made to the Stoughton Senior Center (www.stoughtonseniorcenter.com/donate). Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

As a member of the Wednesdays breakfast group I enjoyed the company of Paul and Gail, and was shocked to hear of his sudden bleeding episode, and the difficult decisions that were required at the end. We will miss him.
