LIVESTREAM SERVICE:

Connie’s Livestream Service will begin at 11 a.m. CT on Friday, January 30, 2026. Scroll down to the Webcast section and click on “Watch Now.”

Connie married Thomas F. Faust on April 18, 1959. She worked as a legal secretary from 1954 to 1978 and then at the State Court of Appeals from 1998 to 2010, retiring at 73 years old.

She enjoyed baking, cooking, knitting, gambling, her “girls” card club of 60+ years and spending time with family, grandkids and great-grandkids. We all treasured her baking skills- making a variety of cookies and candies at Christmas time and sharing them with everyone.

Connie is survived by her children, Debbie (Grant), Becky (Scott), Gary and Lori (Marlon); grandchildren, Joshua Kahl, Janelle Kahl (Bill), Abby Timmons (Roger), Carter and Brodie Trollop, Christopher (Anna) Pulvermacher and Ashley Pulvermacher; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Ryla, Reese, Paige, Nora, Harlow and Calvin; and very special sister-in-law, Patti Mellum (Gary). She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom; grandson, Aaron; siblings, Don, Val, Roland, Virginia and Winnie; and many other relatives and special friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2947 Thinnes St., Cross Plains, at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026. A luncheon will follow the Mass. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local food pantry or Northwest Dane Senior Services, 1837 Bourbon Rd., Cross Plains, WI 53528.

We want to thank her good friends and neighbors who were always there for her- you know who you are! A heartfelt thank you to Cross Plains EMTs and their quick response. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I worked with Connie at the court and she was a joy to be around. She always had a ready smile and a tray of treats! At one of our breakfasts she shared that her doctor recommended she walk with a cane, not for balance as one might expect, but rather to slow her down! Connie is an inspiration for a healthy aging attitude. May her legacy of loving and caring for others (and baking) continue through those she blessed.
