OREGON - Lois Ann Midthun Hagemann passed away on January 7, 2026.

Lois was born on December 31, 1934, to Nels and Evelyn Midthun at home in Leeds Township. She was the oldest of their four children. Lois was baptized, confirmed and married at Bristol Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie. She graduated in 1952 from DeForest High School.

Lois married Kenneth "Kenny" Hagemann on September 29, 1956. They resided on their farm in the Township of Oregon for over 60 years. Together, they raised their son, David, on their dairy farm. Lois worked outside on the farm and also drove a school bus for 33 years for the Oregon School District. She was a long-time member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Oregon. In retirement, she enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles and playing euchre with friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenny; brother-in-law, Jerome Schroud; and a niece and nephew. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Denise Hagemann; granddaughter, Lisa (Andrew) Walker; great-granddaughter, Emma; sisters, Ruthy Schroud and Nelda (Wayne) Noltemeyer; brother, William "Bill" (Sherry) Midthun; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

At Lois's request, there will not be a visitation or funeral. We would ask that you reflect upon your cherished memories of her.

A very special thank you to the staff at BeeHive Homes of Oregon who took exceptional care of Lois for several years, as well as the Agrace staff who provided exceptional care and comfort to Lois during the last few months.
