LODI - Jeanette A. (Hanneman) Roelke, age 86, of Lodi, passed away on December 31, 2025, at Meriter Hospital.
She was born August 29, 1939, the daughter of Fredrick Hanneman and Ruth Carol (Watson) Roof and foster parents Sven and Nellie Lingren.
Jeanette was married to her high school sweetheart, Gene M. Roelke on May 30, 1956. Together they shared 58 years of marriage before his passing in April of 2015.
Jeanette loved family and friends, animals, gambling and playing cards and games.
Jeanette is survived by seven children and their spouses, Juanita (Gary) Jarosinski, Catherine (Jim) Karls, Marvin (Tammy Neumaier), Rory (Kathy), Linnea Sandlin, Scott (Shelley), and Douglas (Anna); 27 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren: five great-great grandchildren. Jeanette is also survived by four sisters, Ruth Carol Burckhardt, Sarah Bittle, Diana Hanneman-Milligan and Jackie Hanneman-Schwarz; two brothers, Wayne Miller and Gary Roof; three sisters-in-law, JoAnn Buchanan-Rounds, Nada (Joe) Zeimet and Louise Roelke. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband; parents and foster parents; daughter, Phyllis Strunk; great granddaughter; five sisters; and two brothers.
Memorial services will be held at LODI UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 130 Locust St., Lodi, at 11 am, Monday, January 12, 2025, with Reverend Carlos Careaga officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday, from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
