Marilyn A. Lokken

MIDDLETON - Marilyn Adell Lokken, age 87, of Verona, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on December 9, 1938, in Madison, the daughter of Norbert Miller and Helen (Barlow) Miller.

Marilyn graduated from Middleton High School in 1957. She worked as a baker for Cub Foods Grocery Store on Madison's west side for many years.

Marilyn was passionate about gardening and always had passersby admiring her flowers. She also loved to thrift and spend time in the kitchen.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Kent Lokken, Lars (Lisa) Lokken, Nels Lokken, Lori Lokken and Kari (Scott Mohwinkle) Lokken; grandchildren, Laura (Jeff) Hartman, Robyn Mourning, Grant Lokken, Austin Lokken, Quinn Lokken and Rachel Lokken (James) Hagen; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle and Olivia; and sisters, Faith Clay and Judy (Rev. Dr. Thomas) Smrcka. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert and Helen Miller; sisters, Jane Chapman and Marcia Reed; and step-daughter, Elizabeth Mourning.
