Peter grew up in the Waunakee area and graduated from Waunakee High School in 1982. After graduating from high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force and served our country as a precision measurement equipment lab specialist, both in the states and in South Korea, from 1982 to 1992. Part of his service included time (August 1990 - June 1992) in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He received several decorations, medals and ribbons during his time in the service.
After his time in the Air Force, Peter worked at Madison Newspapers in the IT/Production area. This was fitting, as at 14 years of age Peter was a newspaper carrier and delivered 75 daily and 85 Sunday Wisconsin State Journals. Peter enjoyed music, reading, watching movies, gaming and his beautiful property in Pardeeville. He loved animals, especially dogs.
Peter is survived by his mother, Kathleen; sisters, Mary, Lee (David) Fuccillo, Denise (Tim) O’Rourke and Jenny (Dave Rausch) Pulvermacher; brother, Rich Pulvermacher II; nieces and nephews, Katy (Eric), Domenique (Justin), Tony (Hiromi) and Spencer (Danielle); and five grand-nieces and one grand-nephew. He was preceded in death by his father.
