Obituary

 

LODI - Martha S. Olson, age 70, of Lodi, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at UW Hospital and Clinics.

 

She was born on July 7, 1955, in Harvard, Illinois, the daughter of Levar and Elizabeth (McComb) Butts.


Martha graduated from Harvard Illinois High School. She married Jeffrey Olson on August 31, 2002.


Martha worked as a Paralegal Secretary for Dewitt Ross and Stevens until her retirement.


Martha enjoyed sewing, quilting, ATVing, reading, and spending time with her cat, Squeeks. But mostly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.


Martha is survived by her two daughters, Julie (Mike) Clark and Wendy (Shawn) Buss; two stepdaughters, Tammi (Mike) Jansen and Tonya Olson; four grandchildren, Hannah Clark, Bailey Clark, Robert Buss, and Clarissa Buss; friends and other relatives.


She was preceded in death by husband, Jeffrey Olson; her parents; and brother, Frank (Karen) Butts.

 

Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Burial will be at Dekorra Lutheran Cemetery.
