MADISON - Sandra Jean Abel, age 73, of Verona, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Badger Prairie Health Care Center. She was born on February 4, 1952, in Waupun, Wis., the daughter of Thomas Abel and Imogene (Tew) Abel.
Sandra graduated from Waupun High School in 1970. She worked as a clerical staff member for Department of Revenue, UW Hospital, and St. Mary’s Hospital until retirement.
Sandra was very crafty, being able to work with her hands and making different pieces of art through needle and thread. She enjoyed cooking for everyone around her.
Sandra is survived by her brother, Gary Abel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Imogene and Thomas Abel.
